When I use Firebug to inspect the element it shows the following...
Inherited fromdiv.banner-title .banner-title { color: #808080; } /about-us/team/ #3 (line 37) html, body, div, span, applet, object, iframe, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, p, blockquote, pre, a, abbr, acronym, address, big, cite, code, del, dfn, em, font, img, ins, kbd, q, s, samp, small, strike, strong, sub, sup, tt, var, b, u, i, center, dl, dt, dd, ol, ul, li, fieldset, form, label, legend, table, caption, tbody, tfoot, thead, tr, th, td { font-size: 100%; }
But the color and font size have a line though them ?

Well i've got it to change color, by adding
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, h1 a, h2 a, h3 a, h4 a, h5 a, h6 a, a.site-title, .entry-title a, .entry-title a:hover, .widget-title a:hover, h3.widget-title a:hover { color: #808080; }
To the custom CSS code box. I'm not sure if this is the most efficent way of doing it.

When you did this change, did unexpected changes to the same colour appear elsewhere within the site? That's a fairly broad range of tags to change.
