phillip 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 Hi, is there an easy way to remove content from the footer columns. I'm trying to avoid diving into the php code. Would like to remove "Pages" "Latest" "More" from the footer columns on all pages of this website: http://primevolleyballclub.com
catrina 103 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 The easier solution would be to add 5 widgets to the 5-column sidebar in your Widgets page, leave the 3 middle widgets blank, and add the content you want to the first and fifth widget (the logo in the first widget, for example). Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. Designer | Catrina Dulay Founder | Catrina and Mouse
phillip 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 Thanks Catrina. I see the "Footer Columns Sidebar" available on the right (in the Widgets panel) to drag available widgets into, but don't know which available widgets to drag there.. arbitrary text one? All I'm looking for is the Logo icon at the left, and the Copyright text on the right at the bottom...
Rob 547 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 Phillip, In Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Footer Columns Sidebar you may choose from most of the available widgets. Personally, I suggest using a text widget for each of ones where you want custom content. If you want the logo on the left, that must be the very top of the widgets in order in the sidebar (footer). The copyright info would be the bottom of those widgets. You can replace things like Latest with Search or anything you wish from the options available.
