Changing site title color and functions.php file on iBlog5 theme

Recommended Posts

Hi - I understand that colors have been disabled after reading posts on this topic. I have a multisite installation and want to be making sub domains for many clients. I don't really want to be uploading an image each time a new site is created. The simplest is to use site title as text and not upload a logo image. But default text is blue and I need something else, the blue doesn't even match the theme's greyscale. I understand I can do something in functions.php to allow me to make such color changes to fonts. Can you explain exactly what to do? Thanks Simon

Take custom css code... in pagelines without iblog5 you need for the link Text color... here black .headline h1 a {color:#000;} fort the link hover color ... here red .headline h1 a:hover {color:#F00;} think that shoud also work for iblog5

Hi Simon. You will need to add a couple CSS elements to make this work. @monster 's code should get you started. Keep in mind we can't design your site for you so if you need CSS help, make sure you've downloaded Firebug for Firefox and check out W3 Schools for more info. Also please be sure to watch our Firebug video tutorial here.
