Dear All, I would like to add a blog / blogroll (?) to the footer of my website found at www.argrove.co.uk. Please could you tell me how to do this? I would like to have fresh content added to my site on a regular basis. Thank you. James

James, a blogroll is defined as a list of links, usually external. A blog is defined as a list of posts in your site. Which is it you would like to add to the footer? Fresh content comes from the addition of new posts. Do you write daily? Weekly? Creating a new posts is the best way to get fresh, original content that the search engines recognize correctly as your own.

Okay, so, let's say you want to show the last few post you added. Essentially you just want to show a linked list. First make sure you have the Footer Sidebar (5-Column) dragged into the Footer area in Dashboard > PlatformPro > Template Setup and select Footer. Save the Options. In that case, just go to the sidebar where you want the list (the footer sidebar). And slide over the "Recent Posts" widget into the Footer Sidebar in Dashboard > Appearance > Widget. If you prefer to have things like title, excerpt and even thumbnails, I recommend using a plugin called Special Recent Posts which allows you place a shortcode into a text widget in the same sidebar (footer). http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/special-recent-posts/
