I am using the following function in the functions.php function add_topnav_menu() { $args = array( 'menu' => 'top_menu', 'container' => 'div', 'container_class' => 'secondnav_menu', 'container_id' => '', 'menu_class' => '', 'menu_id' => '', 'items_wrap' => '

 • %3$s
', 'echo' => true, 'before' => '', 'after' => '', 'link_before' => '', 'link_after' => '', 'depth' => 0, 'walker' => '', 'theme_location' => ''); wp_nav_menu($args); } add_action('pagelines_inside_top_branding', 'add_topnav_menu'); In the CSS I have: div.secondnav_menu{ float:right; display:block; list-style:none; } .secondnav_menu { float:right; width:auto; height:25px; padding:14px 0 0 0; border: 0px; } .secondnav_menu ul{ float:right; width:auto; list-style:none; z-index:1000; position:absolute; } .secondnav_menu ul li{ float:left; width:auto; font:normal 11px/22px Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#fff; background-color:inherit; padding:0 0 0 9px; list-style:none; z-index:1000; } .secondnav_menu ul li a{ color:#ffffff; list-style:none; padding: 4px; font-weight: bold; z-index:1000; } .secondnav_menu ul li a.active{ background: #394144; color:#ffffff; -moz-border-radius: 2px; -webkit-border-radius: 2px; -khtml-border-radius: 2px; border-radius: 2px; list-style:none; padding: 4px; font-weight: bold; z-index:1000; } .secondnav_menu ul li a:hover{ background: #394144; color:#ffffff; -moz-border-radius: 2px; -webkit-border-radius: 2px; -khtml-border-radius: 2px; border-radius: 2px; list-style:none; padding: 4px; font-weight: bold; z-index:1000; } But links are not clickable when the menu appears in the front end. I tried z-index too, but not sure how it would work. Any help please?

It would be difficult to check out the problem without a live link. Is there a live link that you can provide?

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Hi Catrina, Take a look here: http://instantdemos.com/wordpress/ If you notice the links on the top right they seem click bale but actually goes on the home page only as they are behind the branding div tag which is for the logo.

I am unclear exactly how you've done this, but it's not quite correct. The branding image is changing on mouseover anywhere in the branding area. PlatformPro, which you're using, should allow you to easily add a function but I believe yours is incorrectly crafted. I'm going to have to ask one of my developer colleagues to look at this tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

We're still looking into the hook, however your CSS is incorrect:
.sitemenu { position: absolute; height: 25px; padding: 5px 0 0 0; right: 220px; z-index: 99; }
The z-index doesn't work with position:float. See http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_pos_z-index.asp
