Customizing Feature Image Slider

I am having trouble finding a way to customize the image slide feature on my site. Please help, thanks.

I've checked the wikis and videos about the slider images, but haven't found any way to change the appearance of the text or text box on them. Is this possible in the Lite edition? Thanks so much.
