Navigation Menu color

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to mimic the Apple menu navigation. I would like the tab "Inicio" (this is the page of post) will not change color when I select another tab (these are category). I'm trying to learn and I am lost in the codes. Thank you very much in advance. Carlos

Carlos, Did you find the solution? I started to look, broke off for a few minutes and when I came back, it wasn't changing color anymore.

Carlos, I didn't realize I clicked the button and was actually on that page. Apologies for my confusion. Using Firefox, I can see the menu item (menu-item-16107) which is what you need to build some CSS around... specifically telling your site not to hover on that item. Something like:
menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-16107 {hover:none;}
Unfortunately, CSS isn't my field of expertise and I'd suggest letting one of my colleagues take a look at this one tomorrow. I will send a note to Danny to take a look at it.

You does not have to apologize to me for anything, I should apologize for being learning. Very helpful as always Mr. rangelone Carlos PD: It did not work but I will try to "hover: none" ;)

Hi.. I solved the problem by making the tab as a "custom link", not as a "page link". Another question, I can change the color light gray to dark gray that I show in the picture. Thank you very much for the patience. @simple_mama I do not think I was asking you to design the site. Sorry for the query, but if I use CSS to get the new navigation bar, the problem is that I can not find the code in firebug, for my little knowledge. I'll try to solve the problem alone, that will let me learn. No problem. Thanks for the info, I'll read it.
