mcookson 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 Sorry- can't find thread where I asked this previously. I have double checked WP settings are correct to show my home page as the posts page. I looked at other pages I had previously published (when the posts were displaying) and can't figure it out. I have the side bar enabled and it is displaying at all pages. But, my home page (named "Latest lines") still is displaying the following text- and not displaying the blog posts. When I enabled a latest posts widget, i can see the posts. So, they are in WP and the db correctly. Is this a conflict with theme and permalinks? mcookson 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 I am on newest version of theme. I downloaded the theme, setup the pages I needed, created posts, and then set up widgets and plugins, like I have done several other wordpress sites. I had the posts displaying at one point, but after the style template that was used was requested to use another one (the default) I now don't see the posts displaying (but at the site link, you can see the sidebar widget Recent Posts does display them. Not sure why, but the General Settings > Reading would not hold/stick, and kept changing what pages the static home page & posts appear on page were at (and yes, I saved the settings). I ended up just using WP plugin Exclude Pages and hiding the Home page. Which is fine- works the way I wanted. Sorry to pester you (seriously, it was wonky earlier- may be my hosting company?)
