Cross Browser Testing

Recommended Posts

WebWerx

I thought I'd post this question to see what folks are up to in terms of testing their PL sites in different browsers. As I am on a Mac Platform, I am unable to test (that nasty) IE easily. I have all of the other major browsers installed. I have read alot about Browser Stack, but am unsure as to how to test CSS tweaks on the fly with it. So what is everyone using and what is the best way to tweak their CSS when testing? @simple_mama .... @Simon... @rangealone ... @catrina.. @Danny ??????

I have FireFox, Safari, and Chrome set up on my Mac. For IE testing, I use Adobe Browser Lab (https://browserlab.adobe.com/en-us/index.html). Although I can't hover/click on anything, it's the best I can do.

Thanks Jenny. I did give Browser Stack a try. It is free for a short period of time on a monthly basis. What I liked is that it has Firebug embedded in each browser. Very cludgy though.

Ya got me on this one. My last Mac had four cheeses and a side salad; but knowing me, that will come as no surprise. Actually, I'm a strictly PC kinda guy.
