bauerhaus 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 The sharebar is stacking in IE 8 on the blog pagehttp://bauerhaus.1000-oaks-winery.com/blog/. I'm using the latest version of Framework and Wordpress. Here is a photo: How can I fix this?
Rob 547 Report post Posted May 15, 2012 Unfortunately, IE8 is an older browser using a different version of CSS as pointed out in this topic: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/17308/older-browsers-support#Item_3 Since any real solution would require CSS and IE8 doesn't use CSS3, I'm unclear how one might fix this issue. There may be some plugins that could replace the Sharebar. This might help. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5449502/html5-and-css3-for-ie7-and-ie8 Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
bauerhaus 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2012 Thanks @rangelone I will check out those links. I agree IE8 is an older browser and quite frankly I shudder when someone says they still use IE. This is the browser my client is currently using. While I have told him to upgrade, I'm sure there will be other users that view the website in old IE browsers and I want to make sure it shows up correctly in all browsers.
