New widget slot in iBlogPro3

Hi, I'm in need of a widget-slot on the botom of the page (below the secondary menu) over the full width of the page, in style of the theme. (to make a sponsors billboard) Is there an "easy" way to accomplish this?

depends. Could you provide us a screenshot or something to describe what you're looking for? It may be a good feature-add for a future release.

We would need to add this as a feature on an update... You could try implementing it yourself by manipulating the 'footer.php' file. You'll need something like this: `

My content is a widget... "billboard". I would not know how to hand-code that.... :( More homework... suggestions welcome!

Allas... been asking the author of the billboard widget, but they say that there is no way to show billboard outside a non widgedized space. I would like you to consider to add a full width widgedized space above or beneath the footer menu, preferrably without any boxes or backgrounds and minimal margins. Regards, Jackey

Thanks for that... If you look at my website's layout, you understand why I need that space. I need to totate about 60 icons, and that is a bit to much on the right sidebar widget. Jackey

I like this idea as well. :) It would be useful for the company I am designing for to have their "recommended vendors".
