Blog Page Set Up in Framework

Recommended Posts

Hi, I set up a blog archive page and it is showing a feature at the top. The template that I used is does not have a feature item in it so not sure why this is happening. I either need to know how to turn this off, or how to populate the picture. I am running the latest version of Framework and with the Ignite Theme. Thanks for any help on this. Debbie

Are you add the Feature Slider to your header? When you check your Templates settings, where is your Feature Slider enabled?

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Hi Catrina, The feature Slider is only enabled in Template 1. All of the other pages including the blog archive page use the default template which does not have the feature slider enabled. If you look at the other pages in the the site, none of them have the feature. But when you go to the blog page it has the feature showing. Any ideas? Thanks so much for your help. Debbie

Ok, I solved it. If you are running Pagelines Framework v. 2.1.6 you turn the slider off by going to Meta in the left hand side under Pagelines, select blog page, then select Page Setup, scroll down and find and in the right hand box that says content, you will find a check-box that lets you turn on and off the "Quick Slider". When you check the box it will hide the quick slider that automatically shows up on your blog archive page.

Debbie. Thank you very much for this. It looks just like a feature. I was about to flip out.

Also noteworthy to adjust your blog feature dimensions in this meta area versus the blog page meta settings
