pandastick33 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 I've searched the forums and notices a few people are having trouble with this, but not quite in the same way I am - I'm trying to move the site from localhost to a server - I've imported the local DB into the server while changing all localhost:8888 instances to www.... - All I need now is to transfer the Pagelines settings - export working fine - after confirming the overwrite warning, import on server gives me the following error: 500 Internal Server Error - nginx. I've done this all before and it worked just fine, hence I don't understand what's wrong - what I'm doing wrong. Only once, (when error appeared), I've noticed the URL change to "http://basecapital.com.br/base/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pagelines_account&pageaction=import&error=wrongfile" I'm trying to re-create that error but can't Thanks in advance! Henry Perkins 14 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 How large is your export file? If your php upload settings are set too low, it will give you an error like that. @henry_rly
pandastick33 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 17KB only.... I even have the old file (same size) that I uploaded a few days ago... same size :/
Henry Perkins 14 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 The import and export versions need to be the same, and no file edits can be made. If all of this clears we can explore other options. @henry_rly
pandastick33 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 yes, absolutely - they're the same, not even renamed. I thought perhaps permissions could be an issue, but again, I changed nothing since last time.
pandastick33 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 i've just tried it again, and this time it worked! bizarre! i've tried it at least 10 times earlier today, then waited a few hours, tried again, and now hours later it worked. seems that the server had an issue.. either way, thanks again! Henry Perkins 14 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 Yeah it doesn't use permissions (at least at a DOM aspect), it's all handled through the database. @henry_rly
