WebWerx 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 I have set up a client as an "Editor" in Wordpress and I would like them not to be able to see any references to Pagelines: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0d74wpsfc What is the best way to accomplish this? Couldn't find anything in the Forums....
evert100 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 You could prevent them to come at the backend, to redirect them to some page or define a new role. You could hide the dashboard bar etc. It all depends on their tasks. The things i mentioned can be solved through plugins. Regards, Evert

evert100 1 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 @Catrina i used for this purpose the plugin called "Peter's Login Redirect" when you also hide the wp dashboard stroke, through user settings, the can't go anywhere. Even when they type .../wp-admin they are redirected. You can use role, id lots of settings. Enjoy. Regards, Evert

WebWerx 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2012 @evert100 & @catrina: Thanks for taking the time to followup on this item. I did take a look at the (overwhelming detailed) plugin. I will have to dig into it to see if it meets my needs. I'll mark this post as resolved for now... and will report back after I see if my tinkering bears fruit. :-)
