Adding links to the header

I am trying to add links to the top of my site but I can't get the positioning correct. I would like them above the search bar below the social media icons. If I don't try to align them then they appear at the top left but when I do try to align them they appear under the content and are not clickable. (right now they are at the top right). How can I position them between the search bar and the icons?

@policyschool: Not sure how you got them there. But I would add a Hook and apply some custom CSS for positioning.

in the custom code Style section I added:
.header_contact { position:absolute; right:25px; }
and in the header section I added:

The position is fine now, but I'm not familiar with hooks. How do I get it above the content and clickable.

The action map plugin (in the Store) provides the location of hooks live on your site. You can read over this documentation about hooks: http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/How_to_Use_the_PageLines_Customize_Plugin

Is your PageLines account information entered in WP -> PageLines -> Account?
