Remove White Space Above/Below Banner and Banner shows Up in Sidebar

I've searched the forums -- can't get an answer that works for me. Please see the banner on the top of this page above feature slider. How do I get rid of the white space above and below it. Also, if you look to the right of the feature slider, in the primary sidebar -- the banner shows up in a tiny size -- I don't know how it got there or how to get rid of it. The only way I can get rid of it is to delete the image from the library, but that deletes the banner. many thanks...

For the banner, you will need to reduce the padding of the [b]#banners .content-pad[/b] and [b].banner_container .banner-area[/b] elements. The tiny banner is in the sidebar because you have it set in a "highlight" section (which I found using the below information). Remove that and it'll go away.
