Henry Perkins 14 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 That is normally where your "Website Watermark" would go, which you can find in Pagelines > Settings > Website Setup > Website Watermark Do you have "Hide watermark" checked in that section? @henry_rly

buddy1 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 I still have the space, I'm talking about the space to the right of the Mark Post District Attorney sign. How can I get an image or a post in that area instead of just having a blank space of two colorsl Thanks for your help. Buddy
catrina 103 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 You can add content there by adding a blank text widget to the full-width sidebar (in Appearance > Widgets) and using CSS to adjust the width, position, and style so that it fits in that blank area. To create the CSS you need, please use Firebug (following these instructions) and refer to W3Schools for more help on CSS: http://w3schools.com/css/default.asp. The HTML help from W3Schools is also handy since you'll need to use HTML code to add your content to the text widget: http://w3schools.com/html/default.asp. (By the way, this topic should actually be in the WhiteHousePro forum category but it's not irreversible so we'll leave this as is) Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. Designer | Catrina Dulay Founder | Catrina and Mouse
buddy1 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 I put a text widget in full width sidebar but nothing shows up on any page. They like everything about the page but the blank space and I cannot seem to find how to get something in there. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks so much for trying. Rob 547 Report post Posted April 20, 2012 Buddy, that's a post, No. 19. which apparently has no title or content to it. WhiteHousePro 3 wants to add blog posts in that area. You need to either edit the post or delete it. What you're seeing are borders designed to go under the post title and between posts. The whitespace is the overall Blog area. Rob 547 Report post Posted April 24, 2012 Buddy, I went to look at it again and I can't access the site. It appears password protected. You can stop posts appearing on your homepage by creating a static home page and static blog page. In your homepage, you are free to include anything you like, but I'm unsure if all the WHP elements (boxes, slider) are easily placed as I've not tried this. The Blog page would just be blank. Use the settings in Dashboard > Settings > Reading to assign the new homepage to be the front page, and the new blog to be your blog listing page. Please let me know if you remove the protection so I can look again. Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
