I have a blog posting page that is posting, but I cannot figure out how to show it with Blog nav button. Posts are going there and it shows up in footer in most recent posts, but page is not listed in pages list nor does it show up as an editable page when I open it. Issue 2. I am trying to install a custom widget, I have followed the WP info and it does not show up in available items. I really need some help here. Will pay. THX!

Hey Kevin! Head on over to Settings--->Reading in your Wordpress administration panel. This is at the bottom of your Worpdress admin area. Make sure the "posts" page is set to "blog" and should work normally for you. If not, make sure there are no other pages named "blog" that may have been created, then deleted. Also, you may want to set your permalinks to at minimum a month/year structure because it's a bit better for SEO instead of the default way Wordpress has this. This can be changed under Settings--->Permalinks in your Wordpress administration panel. For the widget, is it a text widget? A widget from a plugin? Let us know if you find the above setting to make your posts appear on your blog page. Nick

For the life of me, I could not find the blog settings. Duh///// Big thank you. It is a custom one that someone built. It is a sign up/ subscribe widget If you could call or email that would be great. kevin@KevinAndersonProductions.com 520-904-2511 :)

I would like to put it into the Tertiary side bar.

Have you tried deactivating all other active plugins to see if the issue persists?

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Kevin, I'll have a look at the attachment and see if it can be fixed. To recap though, just go to http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins and search for "Constant Contact" and I'm sure you'll find a plugin that works. I wouldn't worry about the facebook/twitter aspects of the original widget till you get the client's needs resolved in the short term.

That took me 30 minutes to do and took considerable customization. I'll explain verbally.

Okay... that "widget" is just a collection of files. 1. Copy contents of the .php file and paste into a text widget inside the Tertiary sidebar. Save but don't close. 2. In a new tab, upload each image via Dashboard > Media > Add New. With each upload, copy the URL from the Media section, return to the text widget and replace the /images/filename.png with the actual URL. There are three files. Once the three images are replaced. Save and close. 3. Open the .css file and copy all. 4. In the tab where you had the images, go to Dashboard > PlatformPro > Custom Code. In CSS Rules, paste the CSS code. Save. 5. Visit your site and it should look exactly like the sidebar I tested at http://www.epicurus.com/members
