How do I customize sidebar title?

Recommended Posts

I added this code to the plugins: pagelines-customize/style.css /* h3.widget-title {font-variant:small-caps;} */. It didn't do anything to the sidebar title. What is the best way to change this?

You'll want to use Firebug for that. Firebug is a Firefox add-on that lets you see CSS and test it live, in action. http://www.getfirebug.com Skip the code you used above as it's incorrect. This is more like it:
.widget-title { font-variant: small-caps; margin-bottom: 0.6em; padding: 3px 8px 3px 0; text-align: left; }
Thanks, that helped. I just added it to the style.css sheet. Firebug let's you know what class to use.

Yes, Firebug is a 'class act'! You can edit in the right box and see how things actually work or don't work, testing live. Just copy from that box when you've made successful edits, and paste in Custom Code in the CSS Rules area or in in pagelines-customize/style.css as you did.
