How do I update Pagelines in a WP Multisite system?

I recently set up my pagelines system and see a banner at the top of my dashboard saying it needs updated to 2.1.6. However when I click on it, it goes to my multi-site admin dashboard where it says that all my themes are updated. Is there a place to download the updated theme and if so, what are the install instructions? thanks, gene felice

Hi Gene! Are you trying to update from the main site itself or one of the subsites? You can update PageLines by updating the "master" site on the multi-site install, or the site with ID of 1. In other words, the "main" site. If for some reason this isn't working, you can download PageLines in your account and FTP the files in manually as a last resort, but let me know as it sounds like you may be trying to update from a sub-site. I am trying to update via the main site, master admin. However it says it's all updated. When I go to my sub site that is running pagelines, that's where I see the message that I need to update to 2.1.6. When I click on the link from there, it sends me to the plugins page of the main / master site, where again I see nothing needs updated. Any help would be great. gene

Hi Gene! Well let's see if we can't get ya squared away here. You shouldn't be seeing a notification on a sub-site at all. I'm going to PM you, to request your login credentials for your Multi-Site install. I'll login and take a peek to see what may be going on. Nick

Hi Gene, I received your PM, and have noted your concerns with your privacy. However, without being able to log in to diagnose the problem, I can merely speculate. As to what the issues is. 1. You should not be seeing an update message on the sub-sites. It only shows on the main site. 2. If the update is not working, I suggest to manually download PageLines from your LaunchPad, and FTP the files in manually. I'm happy to help but without actually seeing what's going on it's going to be really hard. Nick
