johnathan 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2012 Hope you guys aren't getting tired of me already! I've finally found an option I'm happy with, the Feature slider! I've got two questions however. 1) How do I set it the timout/transition speed? I've set it multiple times at 3000/1000 and nothing happens. I've done this in the Meta Settings. I also set the "show play/pause button" and changed the feature navigation mode from numbers to dots, but these changes don't take effect! 2) Is there a way to only have the feature slider show up on the home page and not on every page you visit? Thank you for your help
Danny+ 1,327 Report post Posted April 13, 2012 Hi Johnathan, 1. Can you take a screenshot of your settings please and attach them to your reply. Also try disabling all active plug-ins and see if this resolves the issue. 2. Yes, first thing you need to do is remove the Feature Slider section from your Header template. Adding any section to this template will display the section on all posts/pages. Once the above is completed, go to Templates > PageLines Templates and select the "Custom Page" template. Now drag and drop the Features section to this template. Then go to Wordpress Admin Dashboard > Pages and select the Page that is being used as your homepage. On the right hand side, there is an area called "Page Attributes" and with the word Template wrote and underneath that a drop down where you can select templates. In this drop down select the "Custom Page" template and then click save/publish button. http://www.screencast.com/t/0HfEZhbEzFU4 Once you have finished this, scroll down until you see the PageLines Meta Settings and then click the Features option panel and configure the settings. Once completed, click the Save Meta button and then view your homepage. If you only use the Custom Page for your Homepage, the slider will only appear on your homepage. Please search our forums, before posting!
