Jan, The instructions found at the link provided are certainly feasible, but outside the scope of forum support as it requires extreme customization. The instructions are for a typical theme and PageLines is a Framework (PlatformPro a platform), both quite different from off-the-shelf themes. You'll need a Pro to assist with implementing all that code. http://www.pagelines.com/pros That said, personally I've made my nearly 20,000 post Glossary alphabetical (select by letter) as well as my 8800 recipe collection just by some simple steps which are far less complex, require no coding and can be accomplished in under an hour. If you'd prefer to go the less complicated route, feel free to let me know and I'll happily guide you through the process.

Simple. Create categories for each alphabetic letter and 0-9, using Capital letters in your category creation (via Dashboard > Posts > Categories... Then, go to Dashboard > Posts > All Posts. In the grey bar with the word Title, click on that word. It sorts your posts by title (alphabetically). Select the posts beginning with A and then where the drop down menu says "Bulk Actions" select Edit and click Apply. Now, just globally categorize your posts to the A category. Repeat that for all your post. Since it does this globally, you really should only be doing 27 maybe 28 edits taking just a minute or two each. It took an hour for me because of volume. Create a new page. You create your alphabet there (either by typing or by images) each letter linked to the corresponding category. Personally, I used a plugin called Multi-Column Taxonomy List found here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multi-column-taxonomy-list/ Then, just create a menu item in your menu via Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and voila! You now have an alphabetic listed guide to your posts. See it here: http://www.epicurus.com/Glossary/a-to-z

I used the AZIndex plugin too, with customizations for support Custom Post Types... It's very good, take a look: http://espelho1.jardineiro.net/listao-de-plantas/nome-cientifico/ But, the rangelone solution is good too. Rangelone, did you notice that has the same problem I described in this topic? Raquel, I believe WP (not PageLines) has difficulty reading the custom taxonomies for some reason. I'm going to alert our developers so they're aware of this issue and can actually hide the line if no value is present.

Raquel, good news, I pushed a little and Simon has fixed this issue with custom post types. This will be in the next release of PageLines Framework. I've tested it on my site and it works perfectly!
