background color in a content box

Recommended Posts

I would like to change the color to #fff and remove all borders around the content box. I've gone through the custom css and fixed most of the page, just can't find the content box items.

You will need to add a couple CSS elements to make this work, such as the hentry-pad class. You will also need to add a parent ID before the class otherwise it will apply to all hentry-pad's on your entire site. Keep in mind we can't design your site for you so if you need CSS help, make sure you've downloaded Firebug for Firefox and check out W3 Schools for more info. Also please be sure to watch our Firebug video tutorial here. If your site requires customization, you may wish to consider requesting a quote from one of our authorized Professional designers by visiting our Pros page. (PS. The suggestion above was assuming you meant the small greyish horizontal box with one line of text in it.)

Well that response was not helpful at all. I've done the firebug thing and it worked for the background and "greyish" box with the feature set.

It sounds like you've figured out Firebug before so you shouldn't have a problem doing this one. I already told you it is the hentry-pad. You just need to find and add the parent to go in front of it. Once you work out some CSS and paste it here, we can help you fine-tune it if needed.

That is why I asked the question since I already looked at it via Firebug. Key word in your you comment "shouldn't" since I did the question was asked on the forum not a direct email to support. And no it had nothing to do with the hentry-pad but found another answer from another monitor, got it working.
