Blog function issue

Recommended Posts

tulipgirl85

Hello, We have set up the blog function to run through the above url, however because the blog page is a special page you're unable to hide the boxes and feature image functions with Platform Pro settings (because they don't show up on the allocated blog page). This has been advised to me by the help desk but they weren't able to provide the css that would be required to hide these two functions. When we have tried to hide the function with css it has hidden the functions across the whole website instead of just the blog page. Thanks in advance for your help.

you have to define in ur cascading ss which page it should hide the functions. for example hiding the postloop on the blog page would work like this: .blog #postloop {visibility:hidden; display:none;} Hiding something on a different page would be: .page-id-88 #feature {visibility:hidden; display:none;} what exactly do you want to hide?

Hi, Use the following code and let us know if this gives you the desired look.
.blog #feature {display:none;} .blog #boxes {display:none;}
