I would like to add a clickable phone number to the header. See screenshot. Any suggestions? Here is a screenshot: magnus-phone-number.png

my (bit dirty) solution would be to change the branding section with a box where u can add a clickable image (logo) and the text you want. Then align the text to the right bottom give it the styling u want. Like this U wont have to modify any files except ur CSS. Would be nice to see an optional field to the branding section to write the page title or something else... maybe in some update 1 day... PS: If some1 has a better, easier, and responsive idea, pls share. PPS: If u having trouble with the box set selection, you have to set the box in the pagelines as standard, and then change all other boxes u use on the page in the metasettings of each page individually.

If you're using PlatformPro, you can install and activate PlatformBase, the child theme, to create a hook in the functions.php file to add that phone number. For more info on the child theme and hooks, please see here: http://www.pagelines.com/docs

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Are you wanting it to direct the viewer to a certain page when they click on it? I'm not sure what you want to do with a "click." Otherwise, just create a header image with your phone number placed about 860px to the right of your left edge. That'd be the easiest way. Here is an example: http://www.socialdesignstudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Magnus.png

@grimus151 First things first, you're using Platform Pro version 1.4.0, this is an old version, the current version is 1.5.3. Therefore, I recommend you backup any custom code you may have added, along with your theme settings. Then login to your PageLines Launchpad and download the latest version. Once you have completed the above, read through this forum post. A user asked a similar question and you should be able to use this as a template to add your own details. http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/14846/make-header-jpeg-link-to-email-instead-of-root#Item_2
