Banner is acting funny!

Great new Forum! Love it. I have been using PFPro for a year now, and it's been trouble free. Suddenly I noticed that my banner is sliding out of the way, and the Boxes below the banner, as well as the footer seem to have shifted as well. http://ironstruck.com/ Has anyone encountered this before? Any suggestions? I haven't added any extra plugins, I try to keep things lean. Thanks everyone.

Hi Dvanton, I have checked your website and noticed that you're using an out of date version of both Platform Pro and Platform Base. The versions you're using are below: Platform Pro - 1.3.1 Platform Base - 1.3.1 The latest versions are currently: Platform Pro - 1.5.3 Platform Base - 1.4.1 I recommend you login to your PageLines Launchpad and download the latest version of both Platform Base and Platform Pro. Also as a precaution, please backup any custom code and your theme settings, before performing the update.

Please search our forums, before posting!

Hey Danny, Thanks! I have a couple of questions: 1) For theme settings, do I use the Export Theme settings button? What sort of setting will that export? 2) Do I install Platform Pro first, then install Platform base, and then select Platform base as my main theme? Thanks Danny, I just want to make sure I have this right! Dave.

Dave, In answer to 1. The settings should pick up automatically. But some may need to be updated. I do recommend making a backup of everything but you shouldn't need to do anything with the upgrade in terms of exporting/importing. For No. 2, Yes. Install PlatformPro first, then install PlatformBase and activate PlatformBase. You may need to revisit various things like boxes, features, etc. and update them. Also, since your theme was outdated, you possibly have deprecated or outdated plugins active. You might be best to check each one at http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins to make sure they're all compatible with the latest version of WP. Also, make sure WP itself is up to date.
