Hey Guys, I just purchased PageLines after using the free version for a bit. I have a few questions on getting my home page set up correctly. You can see the site here: http://www.boxspringstudios.com I??™m having a bit of trouble getting the home page to look like I want it to. Right now, the home page template is custom template#1. The other pages are default. I want my home page to have: ??? Normal BrandNav at the top. ??? Under that, have the Features slider. ??? Under the features slider, I want 3 boxes from left to right (with room for sidebar on the right) ??? Sidebar with news& events (posts) ??? Under the boxes have the main content. ??? Under all of this have a ???our partners photos??? ??? Then normal footer Here is a link for what I am trying to emulate: http://www.monty.com/ I'm not sure how to order things properly in the template editor. Which sections should I use for the above? Please help!

Okay... First, I'd suggest getting the Boxer plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/boxer/ Follow the instructions there to create the boxes you want to apply to both the top of your content area, and also for the bottom where you want the pictures. You should really go through our docs at http://www.pagelines.com/wiki You create a new page, using a template that includes one sidebar, no morefoot, but in that section add the Universal Widget and only a footer. Inside the page, you'll want to include the shortcode for one box set with three boxes followed by your page content. Then in Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets in the Universal sidebar, add a text widget with the shortcode for a second box set that will include your photos. Now add your recent posts to the primary sidebar (same location) and you should be all set.

Ok, so ive made some changes to the site and I think its come a long way. Im almost where I want it to be. Still having 1 problem. As it is now, I have two Boxes under the Feature slider. I like the position of the boxes but I hate the style. I want them to have a border and stand out a bit more. How do I edit this so I can give them a nice style and look?

You can use custom CSS to stylize the look of these boxes. Please refer to this documentation for more information and instructions on how you can use Firebug and the PageLines Custom CSS settings to achieve the look you're going for: http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS This resource is also extremely helpful: http://w3schools.com/css/default.asp

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.
