Features in posts

I need to place a feature set in a post. This is because I have a category blog page, with a sticky post at the top. So, I need to add a specific feature set to the bottom of this, without having it appear on every page. What is the shortcode for doing this?

When you're in the post editor, you can enable a specific feature set to show by using PageLines Meta Settings > Features. You can designate a different feature set to show on each post page, but you'll need to make sure that Features are an active section in your Template settings first.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Yeah, but I need the feature in only one post on a category page (listing several posts in the same category). So how do I achieve this?

It doesn't sound like this is possible. Features don't appear on category pages in the post listings as thumbnails. There's no shortcode either. You can have global features in category pages (because they're dynamically created), but you can't select a specific feature set for a category page. You can put a feature set inside any one of the posts that are listed in the category and use one of the slides from the set as your thumbnail for that post which would then appear on the category page. Sliders cannot be placed as thumbnails, nor can they be included inside post excerpts. Perhaps you can find a plugin slider that does use a shortcode. Ours is hardcoded and there's no way to convert it to a shortcode. Check at http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins
