Custom Banner in Header

Recommended Posts

coachkriswatkins

I am wondering how I make the banner fill up the whole header at the top of the page. I have tried changing the pixels and it still leaves the spaces on the sides and top and bottom. thanks Kris

It's mostly a padding issue going on around the banner area. You'll need to reduce the padding so that the banner appears to fill up that area. If you're not familiar with using Firebug to come up with a CSS customization to fix the issue, please see here for further instruction: http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS#How_to_use_CSS_Inspection_Tools

Try this,
#branding .content-pad { padding:0px; }
Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

@jamieb23 Thanks for providing a solution. @coachkriswatkins If the above solution doesn't work, you should look into the padding for that entire page canvas area.
