Any idea how I could fix this? Images and slide looks fine in Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox, but not in IE 8 and 9: compare this (Chrome) https://skitch.com/phil/8j65n/positief-mechelen-plannen-voor-mechelen to (IE) https://skitch.com/phil/8j64s/image.php Some code from the homep

Philippe, your site is currently in maintenance mode, so I cannot see anything live, but it appears your settings are incorrect. The images seem to be set with a 23 pixel height which I do not believe belongs there. Different browsers react in unique ways to image sizes and background images. I'd have to see the site live, view the images independently and look at CSS and source code for more than the code you provided. As soon as I'm able to see the site live, I can prescribe a more efficient solution. Please let us know when you've made it live.

Thanks for your quick reply! Problem is, the site is a campaign site. We can't afford to go live with bloated images. It has to be right from the start :) Images are supposed to be 23 px high, they're logos meant to replace the party name in the text.

I've managed to get the icons right (by using a smaller image) but the slide still isn't showing in IE. I've put the site live so you can take a look at it.

I have already posted this problem on another thread. My site at www.justbeermicropub.biz is massively broken in IE. Slider not displaying correctly, formatting gone, footer columns askew, font sizes and colours all affected. Need a fix for this quickly please!!!

I responded to you in the thread you posted (we'll keep the communication there so that we don't go back in forth between this topic and the other one). :)

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

It doesn't look like anyone has actually answered this question.  What I did was add a line to my css that is affected by this.  for example:

.class {

width: 25px;
max-height: 25px;
}

That solved the problem for me with IE.  Adding the max-height line that is...
