Go into the custom code section in the Pagelines settings and below the box titled "custom code", there's one for "header scripts". I've jsut tried your text in there and it gave me a box with "reservations" and some other text at the top of the page.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

Some of the code you provided may conflict with the template. I think it would have to be refined and broken apart because some applies to the header, other parts, including the javascript itself are in the body of the page as it appears from your code. Where do you want this to appear? If it goes in the header (branding area), you'll probably want to include some of it in a hook.

I want to place the script in the sidebar. This is for a tour company and the purpose is to create a script to announce "Reserve by (date here) " and the script will do it automatically without updating it all the time.

Hi Deafcoder, Like @jamieb23 suggested, this is the correct way to add javascript.

Please search our forums, before posting!
