How to get Feature Setup Options to display in Post editor

Recommended Posts

miramax

I set up a Features section on a page and I'm populating it with posts from a specific category. The section pulls the posts correctly, but I need to set a background image for each post (different than the post's standard featured image). The Pagelines documentation says "Also a new option panel will be added on post creation and editing pages". However, when I edit a post from the category that the features section is pulling from, the Feature Setup Options area isn't displaying in the post editor. I've already checked Screen Options and there's nothing there. Any ideas?

Setting a featured image is different from setting a background image.
the Feature Setup Options area isn't displaying in the post editor
Are you referring to PageLines Meta Settings below the post editor?

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Yup, the posts already have featured images, but if I'm reading the docs correctly, I was expecting an additional Feature Setup Options area to display in the posts editor (for all posts, not just special feature post types).

Hi Bryon, These options are not available in PageLines Framework, therefore you're unable to use an alternative image for your features slider. The information saying "Also a new option panel will be added on post creation and editing pages". shouldn't be there and this is a bug, I have reported this for you. If you would like these features added, please feel free to add this as a feature enhancement to our tracker. http://www.pagelines.com/tracking/

Please search our forums, before posting!
