Problem when moving blog

Recommended Posts

Hello! I developed this site with PagelinesPro before Framework came along (which I am now currently using). I am just now transferring the site over off of my personal testing server onto its actual domain. The switch was easier than anticipated. Only one problem! My nav and header fonts have changed and I am not sure where to correct this. I could try to make these customization in code to match the site on the test server but I would rather just find the culprit of change so it is exactly as it should be. Any help on pinpointing the problem here would be great! Thank you so much! New Domain Site: www.madisoncountydemocrats.com Test Server Site: www.highcottontesting.info

Hi. It looks like in the new site there may already be some font settings in Custom Code > CSS Rules. The font for the menu is the same in both sites, but, I think three settings are being changed. One is "Uppercase"; another the size; and finally the spacing. Can you check Dashboard > PageLines > Settings > Typography and make sure the settings are correct by clicking the "Edit Font Styling" button to fix those three things. I suspect that with those changed, the rest of it will work out, keeping in mind that the characters are enlarged by being all caps, and the spacing, set to 0.1em in the new site, will tighten (they're 0.0em in the old). Let us know if that works, or, if there's a need for additional assistance. You can always change to a different, smaller font, if you wish. That's much easier than writing CSS code.

That did it, rangelone. I had checked my typography settings but didn't go into the 'Edit Font Styling' boxes. I knew it had to be something easy like that I was missing. I appreciate your help!!!!
