Fixing some errors in the Pagelines themes

Recommended Posts

hello everyone, I am new to pagelines and have started to customize the pagelines theme. here is where I could use some expert help. My pages are not functioning as how I would like them to. 1. About, Downloadable Material, Founder's Blog and Contact Us Pages: Callout and box sections appear twice. I would like them to appear only once. Also, I would like to get rid of the comment box. 2. Service Page: The background is black instead of white. Don't know how this happened. Could you tell me how to make this white? I thought that it would be white because all of the other pages have a white page. 3. Header: My company logo is the header. The problem is that when i click on it, a new page appears and at the bottom of this new page, it has a no results section. Could someone tell me how I can correct this? Thank you, Luis

Luis, 1. I see you have an error in your template setup, in which you have all the elements duplicated. The callout and boxes are repeated. I suspect you've added the callout in two different content areas and the boxes are apparently in both the content are and the footer in your templates. Look in Dashboard > PageLines > Templates and Dashboard > PageLines > Meta. See this http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/How_to_Use_the_Template_Setup for more information. Also, you can simply remove the comments section from your content area to eliminate it from being seen. 2. I am not seeing black instead of white in the page mentioned in No. 2. 3. Your WordPress settings are directing the branding logo to http://virtuinstrategy.com/blog/ and apparently, you did not yet create a blog page and set it up correctly in your WordPress Settings. See this: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/properly-setting-up-a-blog-page When you click the logo, it's trying to connect to a non-existent page, which yields a 404 error page. a
