Background image in header

Recommended Posts

radroz

Hey guys, I need to know how to get a background image to show in the header for the PageLines framework. I've tried every variation of this:

#header {
 background-image: url(http://credoforcongress.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/flag.png) top left no-repeat;
	}

But nothing shows. Pulling my hair out here

I think you are missing the ' '
#header { background-image: url('http://credoforcongress.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/flag.png') top left no-repeat; }
Source: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp

Added the single quotes. No dice.
#header { background: url('http://credoforcongress.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/flag.png') top left no-repeat; }
Hi Radoz, Try the code below please:
#branding .content { background-image: url('http://credoforcongress.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/flag.png'); background-position: 0 0; background-repeat: no-repeat; }
Also, you will need to reduce the width of your website, it currently has a width of 1100px and your header image is 1000px.
