Menu bar and picture

Hello, I have 2 new problems. 1 . I installed the demo, change the home page but the home menu bar disapeared (see www.myriambahi.com). I would like to have it exactly like in the demo. 2. I wanted to change the picture in the big blue window : I uploaded my picture, copy the link and as you can see on my website, the picture is not well positioned. It is 95% out of the window and you can see only 5% at the bottow of the window. How could I put it correctly ? Thank you for your help Myriam

Ok I solved my issues with the menu bar, but I have a big issue to position my pictures. If you look on my page you will see that I try to put a picture - in the blue window - in the feature box 1 and i have a problem regarding the size and regarding the position. Thank you for your help

It looks like you might have somewhat fixed the image issue already? For images to fit properly in the feature window how it is now, they need to be 610 x 340 pixels. Thanks, Bryan

Thank you but when I try to scale the image, it does put automatically the second number : when I put 610 the second number is 400 something. By the way my current image (475*360) does not fit correctly (since the blue space on the right) and when i choose to scale with a number over 600, it was way too big.

Are you changing the image itself or the box that it should go in?

I added a picture in Media "Add new" Then I ve been to "white house pro feature setup", then"Feature one", then "feature media" then I copy the link to the pictures I added in Media. And it does not fit (see my website). So i don t know if this change the image only or both the image and the box ?

Hi Myriam, what we need to know is are you actually creating the right sized images via a photo editor like Photoshop or simply scaling them with width and height attributes in the code? You should make sure the images are actually the right size, not merely stretched to the size. Thanks, Bryan

Ok, so I understand that I should scale my picture to 610 x 340 pixels using an editor like photoshop and not tring to do so in the code. I am going to try, Thank you (But if I need to scale it with another editor, what's the point of having the option to modify to width and height attributes in the code ?)

Stretching would not give you very clean results as it would pixelate the image.
