Pageslines Pro CSS Issues with Feature Slider in Firefox Only

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the duplicate post, but I prematurely accepted an answer in the other post (http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/18188/pageslines-pro-css-issues-with-feature-slider-in-firefox-only#Item_9) and stopped receiving support there.

I am having a strange CSS issue in a site I am currently building and I am hoping someone here can help. I only see this issue in Firefox (strangely enough; Chrome, Safari, and IE all work fine). I am using the Feature slider below my main content area in Pagelines Pro and in FF it is kicking way out to the right (out past the main content and right sidebar). This is especially noticeable on large monitors (screenshot of my large monitor view in FF here: http://www.camrynwessner.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/2-29-2012-7-00-26-PM.png). The URL to the site is http://www.camrynwessner.com. I tried changing the #feature_slider {position:absolute;} and that helped in FF, but it blew things up in IE, Chrome, and Safari, so I'm hoping there is a better solution since I've tested what I have now in all browsers across all OS's and FF seems to be the only one having issues. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Further analysis has shown that if I remove the embedded YouTube video at the top of the page, the FireFox issue goes away (I can do this via wordpress and publish or just using Firebug CSS and put display:none on the element style). I have also tried switching from the Artiss YouTube Embed plugin (both Object and iFrame styles) to the built-in Wordpress YouTube embed and both cause the issue, but only in FF (but 5 and 7). Everything displays fine in Chrome and IE. Thanks for the support.

Instead of embedding the video using an iframe, have you tried using the javascript code? I have pasted it below for your convenience.

Sorry for the slow response, I forgot to bookmark this discussion and didn't realize I wouldn't get an email notification. Yes, I tried using the Object embedding instead of iframe approach, but it still messes up the feature slider in FF. Code is here:
Oops. I didn't mean for the video to actually embed in the post. But I guess you get my drift. I used the code suggested by @simple_mama, but it did not fix the FF bug.
