CSS Tweaks for Sidebar?

Recommended Posts

marcaflalocom

I'm trying to figure out the proper CSS to modify to attain the look and feel of the sidebars here: nhlhomeice.com, on a new design using Pagelines which can be seen here: nhlhomeice.com/new That, and the navigation as well. Any assistance would be appreciated. My CSS is limited but even after identifying the proper classes I can seem to invoke them. Marc

Hi Marc, DO you have Firebug or Google Chrome Web dev tools installed, these tools will allow you easily find the correct selectors. I have provided you one to get you started, the code below is for the "Latest Team News" #text-2 { background: url(images/sidebar.png) repeat-x; margin: 0 0 10px 0; padding: 4px; border: 1px solid #333; -moz-border-radius: 5px; -khtml-border-radius: 5px; -webkit-border-radius: 5px; } Of course the image/sidebar image may not work, as the path is relative and I simply took the CSS from http://nhlhomeice.com/ I hope this helps and if you need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks. That made literally 99% of the changes i needed easier. I'm stuck at one annoying point. If you take a peek at nhlhomeice.com/new/ i can't for the life of me change the twitter widget's title to match the others. Font color white... Any thoughts? No matter what i tweak.
