CSS for Pagelines Navigation

I have been using Chromes Developer Tools to adjust the CSS of the navigation. But one element I cannot seem to control is the color of the background of the top navigation when i mouse downwards over a submenu item. Currently it changes my top menu item background to my default body background color. Can someone help? And can someone start a wiki that list all the items with explanation that control the navigation. This would help sort out a lot of css questions in the future.
