Mick, Hope all is well! I'm unsure from the PDF whether the code can be applied to Dashboard > PageLines > Settings > Custom Code in Header Scripts, or whether you'd need to just make a shortcode and replace your nav with a full width sidebar in which the shortcode is placed in a text widget. Have you purchased this plugin yet? I know Danny has implemented http://wpmegamenu.com/ with no problems. How he did that, I don't know but he seems to indicate it was easy.
