Features problem in Chrome

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, I've got a problem when viewing my site in Chrome(v17). There are 2 feature images that simply fade in to each other on loop. Often whilst viewing in Chrome, the second image on the Features just won't appear. (the first image fades away, then it's blank until the first image reappears. here's the site: http://www.homeownerhandbook.co.uk/ I've tried disabling my plugins, but that doesn't stop it. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance. Joe.

By the way it's fine in Firefox and Safari.. and only intermittently a problem on Chrome. J.

Joe, great looking site! I checked it in Chrome and let the slides cycle 3 times and didn't see any problem. Do you have a cache plugin enabled? You may simply need to clear that.

Joe, I'd suggest you add your great site to our Showcase http://pagelines.com/submit-to-showcase

Glad you like it. The site isn't finished yet but once it is I'll consider submitting it for the showcase. I'm quite sure this isn't a cache or plugin problem as I've tried emptying cache and disabling plugins and it still happens in chrome. I'm pretty sure it's only been happening since the pagelines 2.1 update. Could you investigate further? Many thanks, Joe.

The basic js that powers the features has never been changed. If it fetches the images and loops through once then its going to loop through a hundred times. This could possibly just be some weird Chrome/jQuery bug because we have not changed the js for over a year. If the 'bug' can be reproduced with no plugins in wordpress OR Chrome and be reproducible every time then it would be a bug with the framework.

i am having the same issue -- which is a nightmare as this is happening with a high profile project at a sensitive time. http://anthonyshadid.com/ feature slides run through once, then go randomly blank on second run in Chrome. Any update???

Ah -- update. Just disabled the plugin "Tweet Blender Cache Manager" and the features seem to be back for now...
