Header re-size

I've spent an hour going through the forums and can't find the exact issue I am having. The site in the newest version of Pagelines: http://bauerhaus.wishuponastarwithus.com/ I want the header to be the full width (I built it at 1394 pixels), like this: http://bauerhaus.wishuponastarwithus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/WantItTookLookLike.png I ran across a post in the forum that says to paste this in the custom css, but it didn't quite work right: body #header .content {background: url(http://bauerhaus.wishuponastarwithus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Header.png) no-repeat top center;} I feel like I am missing something obvious. Any ideas?

I think you should use this CSS instead:
body {background: url(http://bauerhaus.wishuponastarwithus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Header.png) no-repeat top center;}
Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

@Catrina - Thanks for suggestion, but that only made my header white and didn't show any background. Any other ideas?

I should have also said, I've seen this done on another site created with Pagelines, so I know it's possible. Here is the site. I see they added a "container-group fix" to the code, but I can't figure out how to translate it to my site. http://goodsparkgarage.com/

Try this: Remove your current image and add this CSS
#branding{ background: url(http://bauerhaus.wishuponastarwithus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Header2.png) no-repeat center top; min-height: 255px; } #branding .content-pad { padding-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; }
And you will get something like this http://awesomescreenshot.com/028ug5115

Thanks @tmeister - that worked! Once last question - if you look at the site now: http://bauerhaus.wishuponastarwithus.com/ It has a white bar with the site name and tagline on top of the header. I assume that is being pulled automatically from the Settings/General. How do I hide that?
