Facebook like button not wrapping

Recommended Posts

robbienorris

Reference: pleaseaddsalt.com (while you are logged into your facebook) -- I have a facebook like button plugin in the side bar, but the text/faces get cut off because my sidebar is too small. How do I make the text/pics wrap and stay within the sidebar box?

What code are you adding to the widget that creates the Like button? There may be a way to resize that Facebook Like button area so that it fits in the sidebar.

I moved the side bar from 200px to 220px and the text is now all within the sidebar, but the faces are cut in half (i'm not sure you can see the faces because I think it only displays faces of your friends who like it). Anyway, I adjusted the height in the above code from 80 to 150 and it didn't seem to do anything.

First, which plugin is it that you're using? Link? Second, I don't see any faces at all. Is there supposed to be a gallery below the like and text?

Plugin I'm using: http://trac.ahwebdev.fr/projects/facebook-awd Faces only show up of *your* facebook friends that like the page, so that is probably why you don't see faces.

Have you tried adding the code to its own separate text widget rather than adding it directly below the Facebook Like button code?

Instead of using the plugin you mentioned above, have you tried using the code for Facebook Faces directly from the Facebook Developers site?: http://developers.facebook.com/

Have you already tried deactivating your active plugins to see if the code would work after that?

Try validating your site here and check to see if there are any errors associated with the Facebook code: http://validator.w3.org/
