Random sort order for Features - Framework 2.1.1

I set the features rotation on my home page to RANDOM but they always go in the same order. I thought that this might be because post types order plugin was installed - but deactivated this plugin and the rotation still always goes in the same order every time. Does anyone know if this is a bug in 2.1.1 or am I missing something in order to get the random order. Site under construction is http://puertoricohotelreservations.com Eventually, I would like to use random on some pages and ordered sorts on other feature pages, so I'm hoping that its not a matter of removing post types order... Thanks!

The random definitely works. We use the wordpress fetch posts system to pull in posts that match your settings. However, if there is a sticky post in these results, the sticky will always be first. Are any/all these posts stickies? Are you pulling the posts from a category? Can we see the category?

I'm not using posts - I'm using FEATURES with a feature set called HOME.

Thanks Pross, just heard from the client and at least for now they want to go with a liner sort, but may choose to do random after reviewing with participants. Can you let me know what settings have to be - in case they want random feature sets in the future? Thanks! Rick
