if i delete the functions.php in the child theme, will that solve it?

Hi Hypman, Using your favourite FTP client, go to the functions.php file in question and then open it through your FTP client, then remove the code you added and then save the file. Refresh your website and it should be functional again. **Edit** Nice, glad you have it working again. I would seriously recommend you download and install either WAMP, MAMP or XAMPP and do your testing locally instead of on a live site, then if you run into any errors like above, you won't be giving yourself a heart attack if you destroy your website.
