PageLine bbpress vs bbPress Post Toolbar

Recommended Posts

Jackey

Hi, I'm trying to add the "bbPress Post Toolbar" to the PageLines. 3IXKw.png It seems that it does not like the Pagelines bbPress styling. Any idea what's wrong?

Working fine here locally, and on my blog. I have not changed any of the plugin settings.

Found the problem... In the file "bbpress-post-toolbar.php" line 482-485 changed:
function script_and_style() { wp_register_script( 'bbp_5o1_post_toolbar_script', plugins_url('includes/toolbar.js', __FILE__) ); //wp_register_style( 'bbp_5o1_post_toolbar_style', plugins_url('includes/toolbar.css', __FILE__) ); wp_register_style( 'bbp_5o1_post_toolbar_style', site_url('/?bbp_5o1_toolbar_css') );
to
function script_and_style() { wp_register_script( 'bbp_5o1_post_toolbar_script', plugins_url('includes/toolbar.js', __FILE__) ); wp_register_style( 'bbp_5o1_post_toolbar_style', plugins_url('includes/toolbar.css', __FILE__) ); wp_register_style( 'bbp_5o1_post_toolbar_style', home_url('/?bbp_5o1_toolbar_css') );
Don't know why that line was commented, and changed "site_url" to "home_url".

Commented the line again... that breaks the color bar. So I only needed to change the "site_url" to "home_url".

Thanks for that information Jackey. I'm sure it will help someone.

Hey jackey, was this a multisite install? home_url and site_url will give different urls depending on where wordpress actually is: http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/20294/whats-the-difference-between-home-url-and-site-url

No, but I have my wordpress in a subfolder http://mysite.nl/wp and my home is http://mysite.nl At some point in the past I was advised that this was good practice, but never done it since with newer sites. It works but I suspect that not all plugin programmes take this into account. I even think that my recent problems with Vanilla relate to this. My site is quite big and has a userbase of 1.200 users 4-500 visitors daily, and I'm reluctant to move wp to the root... There are lots of old links that probably will break the site.

Ahh, I see. Thanks for letting me know. Perhaps leave a note on the authors forum page on wp.org? Let him know the bug ;)
