catrina 103 Report post Posted January 27, 2012 Internet Explorer doesn't support transparent PNGs so that is why the magnifying glass doesn't have transparency. I'm not certain what could be done to fix this since it's an IE issue. Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. Rob 547 Report post Posted January 27, 2012 @isaia, I called a friend in management at Microsoft on this topic earlier and Catrina is absolutely correct. Internet Explorer was created prior to the establishment of the .png transparency code so it is not prepared to cope with transparent .png files. As a result, there is No Solution available for this topic. I was directed by my friend to show you this: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_explorer.asp and http://i.imgur.com/rWIeK.png and advised that you and everyone else should upgrade your browsers to IE9. Keep in mind that IE7 also predates as does IE8 and IE9 the HTML5 standard we use in PageLines Framework. We cannot support outdated browsers or provide solutions that don't exist. I'm sorry this isn't the answer you're insisting upon but it's the only possible answer. Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
