Setting opacity

Recommended Posts

I need to set the opacity of the entire body / header / footer to 0.2 but I can't get it to work. I have searched and tried several things such as.

.content .content-pad {
	    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.32); !important;
	}
and
#site .page-canvas { background-color: rgb(255,255,255); opacity: 0.5; !important;}

When I apply the top first code it doesn't do anything. When I apply the second code it makes the entire page, including the content on the page, opaque. Thanks!

What's your site URL? Are you using a page canvas mode or something else?

Thanks for the quick reply. I figured it out. I had the color set for the page background in the color control and it was overlaying the background when I used this code.
.content .content-pad {background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.32); !important;}
thanks again!
