Sidebar-login customization - change size login fields

Recommended Posts

consiglieri

Hi My site is on http://www.teg.pp.se/ I would like to change the size of the sidebar-login fields in the upper right. I would like to make them shorter and also a bit thinner so that they will fit better on the page. It would seem that something called "user_login" might be able to change that but I cannot figure out the correct css. Grateful for any help. Thanks

I recommend downloading Firebug. You can find CSS selectors using it.
.widget_wp_sidebarlogin form input.text
may come in handy, but keep in mind if you shrink it, you'll have to change the font size too or it will be cut off.

Well, I can find the element using Safari's built in developer tools. But it doesn't really fulfill my needs. Ideally I'd like a little button or something at the very top right and when you click on it the login form drops/slides down. I guess that's probably beyond what can be expected in this forum. But i shall continue my search. Once again, thanks Simple Mama
