Logo disapppears in wide site design - is it the old IE browser

Recommended Posts

I am using the new Pagelines framework and have made my site pixel width responsive and very wide. However, my wife just called from work and said that when she views the site on a non-widescreen desktop using IE (she has an old version, I just know it's not 9) it looks like this: Untitled2.png Do i need to change something, or is this just something I have to deal with. Thanks -Matt

In IE8 the logo is not appearing although it is appearing in IE7 on my computer. It could possibly be a markup error causing it: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http://www.totalqualitymedia.com/ Check for those tags that shouldn't be self-closing as well as any overlapping or unclosed html tags on the page or in a feature.

fixed: I was manually controlling the width of the logo, something like #brandnav .mainlogo-link img {width 450px;} for an image of 800px width. I instead uploaded the right image size without having to use a manual resize CSS code. This seems to have done the trick. Thanks for your help.
